Handmade soy candle from Quebec, designer and eco-friendly. Made with 100% natural soy wax. Phthalate-free, paraben-free, non-GMO, and not tested on animals.

Candles with a wooden wick can require a bit more maintenance, so it's important to take good care of them!

Before each lighting, cut the wick between 1/4" and 1/8". You can remove the burnt wood with a wick trimmer , nail clippers, or your fingers. A wick that is too long can cause the flame to be too high, or on the contrary, it can go out on its own.

Wait until all the wax on the surface is melted before extinguishing the candle. The ideal burning time is between 1 and 4 hours.

An extraordinary candle

Soft eucalyptus scent

This candle really has a pleasant eucalyptus scent, fully present, but never overpowering. I buy it again and again for my bathroom.

Not great

The candles tunnel when burning, meaning they leave a lot of wax on the sides of the container... even if you let them burn for at least an hour. Also, the wick barely crackles. Finally, it's a shame but the scents are too subtle (smoke and eucalyptus) except for the cereal one, which is really well done!

Hello Ann, thank you for your review! Our candles don't tunnel when the instructions are followed. On the card included with your order, it says to burn for 3 to 4 hours the first time to create a 'wax pool' (so the entire surface melts). This way, future burns won't tunnel and leave wax on the sides. As for the wicks, we use the most crackling wooden wicks on the market. In a quiet environment, you should normally hear the crackling very well. Since it's a natural material, the crackling can vary and may be more or less intense. Regarding the scents, the candles are meant for use in a small room. If you find the scent too subtle, the room might be too large. In that case, we recommend the electric diffuser and wax melts, which cover a larger area for scent diffusion. I hope this helps improve your future experiences! :)
