How to properly care for your wooden wick candle for a perfect burn?

1. Always trim the wick before each use ✂️

This is THE golden rule! Before lighting your candle, make sure to trim the wick to about 5 mm. Why?

• A wick that's too long produces a flame that's too large, leading to faster wax consumption.

• It can generate black smoke and soot residues.

• A well-trimmed wick ensures a clean and even burn.

• Conversely, a wick that's too long and gets clogged may end up producing a flame that's too low or even extinguish completely. In this case, simply trim the wick slightly to restore its full power.

2. Let the wax melt evenly 🕯

4. Clean the surface of the wax 🧼

If you see burnt wick residue or dust on the surface of the wax, gently remove them before relighting your candle. This prevents wick obstruction and allows for better burning.

5. Store your candles away from heat 🌡

To preserve their scent and prevent them from melting prematurely, keep your candles in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
